DO I HAVE TO BE AN EXPERENCIED RUNNER TO PARTICIPATE?

​

No! Colour Fun Run is a non-competitive and untimed run filled with colour that you can experience with friends and family. You’re free to run, jog, skip or walk the course!

 

WHAT WILL MONEY RAISED AT THIS EVENT BE USED FOR?

​

LMA (London Meed Association) is the PTA for London Meed School. LMA is a registered charity all profits raised will be used to benefit the children at London Meed School.

​

Can CHILDREN & ADULTS participate?

​

Yes absolutely!! You can run, jog, walk, or stroll. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

​

CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG? 

​

For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals on the school premises.

​

WILL THE COLOUR RUIN MY CLOTHES / SHOES?

​

The colour mostly washes out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colourful. We suggest washing items you wore to The Colour Fun Run separately from your other laundry.
 

WILL RUNNING THROUGH COLOUR STATIONS AFFECT MY VISION OR BREATHING?

 

Our bright colours are a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C (food-safe) dyes. We suggest Colour Fun Runners wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Colour Throwers will make sure to aim low as you pass by.

IS THE COLOUR FUN RUN TIMED? 

 

The Fun Colour Run is an untimed event. For anyone who wants a finish time, we suggest self-timing.

ARE THERE REFUNDS?

 

If an event is held as advertised, we cannot issue refunds. Make sure you are good to go before signing up. We are unable to offer refunds if for some reason you can’t make it to race day.

​

CAN I TRANSFER MT REGISTRATION TO ANOTHER PERSON?

 

Unfortunately registrations are non-transferable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?

​

A little rain won’t stop our Colour Fun Run. It even makes the colour brighter! If there are major weather warnings and for Health & Safety reasons a decision is made to cancel the Colour Fun Run participants need to stay tuned to email / social media for updates. In the event that the Colour Fun Run is cancelled full refunds will be given. In the unlikely event the Colour FUN Run does not take place on 2nd May 2020, we will endeavour to re-schedule the event. Refunds will be given at our discretion.
